RED SOFT and ZEXTRAS companies established a technology partnership. The successful testing of products from the developer's lines, namely the Zimbra Open Source Edition (Zimbra OSE) solution and its Zextras Suite expansion (ZEXTRAS) with the RED OS operating system (RED SOFT), became a basis for cooperation.
As a result of the tests, the full compatibility and correctness of the products functioning was confirmed, which makes it possible to recommend the Zimbra OSE mail service and its extension Zextras Suite for RED OS 7.1 MUROM.
Zimbra OSE is a completely open-licensed and free version of Zimbra's mail service, containing all the main functionality. This is an open-source product that allows you to automate and simplify the collaboration of any working group within the framework of government or private business.
Zextras Suite is a modular extension that allows you to extend the capabilities of the Zimbra server in a variety of ways. This can be real-time data backup and recovery, push-synchronization on mobile devices, convenient storage and file management, flexible administration. Zextras Suite is the only way to launch Zimbra OSE on the corporate level. It was created for Zimbra OSE and is compatible with Zimbra Network Edition. The architecture of Zextras Suite is modular, which allows different versions of module-components: kernel, zippers, migration tool and installers. This is a high-scalable solution for small and large IT infrastructure.
RED OS is a multi-user, multi-tasking operating system based on the Linux kernel and the RPM-based package base, operating on a wide range of hardware platforms (servers and workstations) available in the computer market, which grants a universal trusted environment for the application software and provides numerous services and applications. RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases of the Ministry of Communications of Russia as No. 3751. It fully complies with the requirements of Federal Law No. 188-FZ dated June 29, 2015, as well as with "Information Security Requirements for operating systems" approved by FSTEC Order No. 119 of August 19, 2016.
