The developers of RED SOFT and Aktiv conducted another series of test trials. This time specialists confirmed compatibility of the RED OS and Rutoken electronic identifiers for the domestic processor Baikal-M.
Particularly, the correctness of joint operation of the RED OS and the following Rutoken devices was tested and confirmed on the Baikal-M platform, based on ARMv8 (AArch64) architecture:
- Rutoken EDS 2.0/EDS 2.0 2100 USB tokens (micro, Type-C), Rutoken EDS PKI (micro, Type-C), Rutoken 2151, Rutoken S (micro, Type-C), Rutoken Lite (micro) Rutoken EDS 2.0 3000 (micro, Type-C);
- Rutoken EDS 3.0 NFC, Rutoken 2151, Rutoken EDS 2.0 2100 smart cards.
Rutoken products are recommended as key storage media in RED OS environment (certificate). USB-tokens and smart cards can be used as secure hardware key data storage devices, including for two-factor authentication in the operating system and for work with electronic signatures. Devices in the Rutoken EDS 2.0 and 3.0 lines have hardware implementation of cryptographic algorithms and are capable of generating an electronic signature "onboard" the device.
Rutoken is a modern, fully domestic hardware key-carriers and information protection tools used for authentication and electronic signature generation. Rutoken products and solutions are certified by FSB and FSTEC of Russia.
RED OS is a Russian Linux family operating system for servers and workstations, which provides a universal environment for the use of application software. The product is certified by FSTEC of Russia (No. 4060 dated January 12, 2019), which confirms its compliance with information security requirements and allows its use in government information systems. RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases (#3751).
"Joint work with leading developers to migrate the RED OS ecosystem to the domestic hardware platform Baikal shows the high demand of customers for integrated import-independent solutions. Now our task is to help them to transfer the IT infrastructure of strategically important sectors to Russian analogues for the implementation of the import substitution program and further digital transformation. Integration of Rutoken products into the RED OS for Baikal-M ecosystem is an important step in this direction", - Rustam Rustamov, Deputy RED SOFT CEO, commented.
Pavel Anfimov, Head of Product and Integration Department of Aktiv Company: "We are pleased that our joint efforts with our partner RED SOFT make Rutoken products and solutions part of the ecosystem of such significant domestic developments as Baikal-M, which make a major contribution to the development of Russian microelectronics.
